New York City Program
Contact us to build your NYC tour!
We have an exciting new homestay experience for anyone wanting to learn about the Japanese high school students visiting during the winter and possibly earn money while hosting.
You can host 1-3 International students who will live with an American family during their adventure.
Each host family provides the student with an immersive, diverse,
and rich experience of living with an American family. FOA students
will share their own culture with the host family.
Both students and families will have many opportunities to learn
and express their stories and experiences about their respective
families, friends, interests, and cultures. Students per home,
depending on how many beds are offered.
This is a homestay program, and breakfast plus family dinner is provided for each student each day, and family lunch on weekends or holidays.
They will be attending Queens Borough Community.
The location address for for ESL is at 222-05 56th Ave, Queens, NY 11364
We are also offering a $50 referral to any friends or neighbors who are willing
and approved to host. Many of our host families have continued long-term
relationships with our students and have even visited our FOA students in
their home countries.
Even though we have been operating since 2012, our new location here in
NYC offers a new and exciting experience for our future students.
We are Fun Opportunity Abroad, and we bring in groups of International
students to California and now NYC to learn about English while educating
themselves on the American culture.

More details about Host Families.
Let your family enjoy the opportunity of hosting an international student for a short term. Experience a new culture without getting on a plane, and let international culture visit your home. If your family is interested in learning about becoming a host family for FOA, this is a beautiful opportunity to expand/enhance your cultural awareness.
Homestay families provide the comfort and safety of a family while providing room and board for the student. All families will incorporate them within their family lifestyle and take them to family or friend gatherings when available.
We are happy to provide you with the needed details of their visit, and we are happy to provide you the itinerary and all need details.
